How to measure
Use a soft measuring tape. Underbust: measure firmly just below the bust, parallel to the floor. Overbust: measure loosely over the fullest part of the chest. Both measurements in the same unit.

Frequently Asked Questions
You need two measurements taken with a soft tape: (1) Underbust — measure firmly around your ribcage just below your bust, in centimeters. (2) Overbust — measure loosely around the fullest part of your chest (over the nipple line). Enter both into the calculator above. Your US/UK band = underbust in inches rounded to the nearest even number. Your cup = the difference between overbust and underbust (each 2.5 cm ≈ one cup size).
US/UK 34B equals EU 75B. The band conversion: US/UK 34 inches × 2.5 − 10 = 75 EU. The cup B is the same in EU. So if you wear a 34B in the US or UK, look for EU 75B at European lingerie brands such as Triumph, Freya, or Simone Pérèle. EU 75B corresponds to an underbust of approximately 75–79 cm and an overbust–underbust difference of about 14–15 cm.
Sister sizes share the same cup volume but use adjacent band sizes. For example, 34B, 32C, and 36A are sister sizes — all hold the same volume of breast tissue. If a 34B band feels too tight, try 36A (larger band, one cup smaller). If it feels too loose, try 32C (smaller band, one cup larger). Sister sizes are useful when your exact size is out of stock or when different brands fit differently.
The band number differs because US/UK sizes are in inches while EU sizes are in centimeters (roughly: EU band = US band × 2.5 − 10). The cup letters also differ beyond D cup: US DD = UK DD = EU E; US DDD = UK E = EU F. Australian sizes match UK bands but use the same letters. Indian lingerie brands (Amante, Enamor, Zivame) typically follow UK/EU sizing, so a UK 34B = EU 75B is the most useful conversion for Indian shoppers.
