A4 paper is 8.27 × 11.69 inches (210 × 297 mm). It is the standard paper size used in most of the world for documents, letters, and printing. In the US, the nearest equivalent is Letter size (8.5 × 11 inches), which is slightly wider and shorter than A4.
A4 paper at 300 DPI (dots per inch, the standard for high-quality printing) is 2480 × 3508 pixels in portrait orientation. At 96 DPI (standard screen resolution), A4 is 794 × 1123 pixels. At 72 DPI (web/screen), it is 595 × 842 pixels — the same as a standard PDF page.
A4 (210 × 297 mm / 8.27 × 11.69") is the international standard (ISO 216), used in most countries. US Letter (215.9 × 279.4 mm / 8.5 × 11") is wider but shorter. A4 is taller and narrower. Documents formatted for one size may have small margins or cut-off content when printed on the other — always check print settings when sharing between regions.
