Frequently Asked Questions
EU 38 (women's tops/dresses) = US size 6 = UK size 10 = India M (Medium), for a bust measurement of approximately 88 cm. This is the most common 'medium' size across European brands. On Myntra, Flipkart, and Zara India, the equivalent label is M or Medium.
US and UK women's sizes use different numbering systems. US sizes run even numbers (0, 2, 4, 6, 8…) while UK sizes run even numbers starting higher (4, 6, 8, 10, 12…). The offset is typically UK = US + 4. So US 6 = UK 10, US 8 = UK 12, US 10 = UK 14. EU sizes are yet another separate numbering system starting at 32.
For women (bust): wrap a soft measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it parallel to the floor and not too tight. For men (chest): measure around the fullest part of your chest, just under your armpits. For men's shirt collar: measure around the base of your neck. Always measure in centimeters for the most accurate result using this chart.
EU 42 men's shirt = US/UK 16.5 inch collar = India L (Large), fitting a chest of approximately 102 cm. In the US and UK, shirt sizes are listed as neck circumference in inches (e.g. '16½' or '42 cm'). German brands like Hugo Boss and Olymp use the EU cm collar system; US brands like Brooks Brothers use inches.
